Trial offers are a one-time introductory offer intended for new local residents who are genuinely considering membership at 10th Planet San Mateo. Eligibility is limited to individuals whose primary residence is within a 10-mile radius of the academy and who are currently able and willing to train locally on an ongoing basis. Temporary visits, short-term stays, returning home during school breaks, or individuals who indicate they will be leaving the area in the near future do not qualify for a trial. Anyone who has previously taken a trial is no longer considered a new student for trial purposes. Trial eligibility is determined at the discretion of the instructor based on the information provided at the time of scheduling and check-in. Local residents who do not qualify for a trial because they have already taken a trial offer must enroll in a membership to train, while non-local residents and short-term visitors may train at our standard $40 day pass rate.
